Lockhart Gymnasium

The facility serves as the primary competition facility for the volleyball program and as a secondary practice gym for Alabama State women’s and men’s basketball. The facility also houses offices for the volleyball, soccer and track and field programs, as well as academic study labs, and an indoor pool.
Lockhart Gym is named for George Hurbert Lockhart, a long-time coach and administrator at Alabama State University who, among his many roles, started the baseball program, fielding the first team in 1926.
